For Grantseekers
Central Texas Education Funders (CTEF), is a membership group comprised of 75 funding agencies in and around Austin who focus on education as one of their grantmaking priorities. The mission of CTEF is to improve the effectiveness of the education sector by providing opportunities for collaborative learning, funding, and advocacy among Central Texas education funders. Although CTEF was formed to serve grantmaking organizations, we provide additional resources and services to grantseekers as part of our commitment to strengthening the education nonprofit sector.
Please note that CTEF does not make grants. To research funding opportunities and/or obtain organizational assistance for your nonprofit, please contact the individual grantmakers. For a list of CTEF members who support work in your area, please see CTEF’s most recent Giving Profile. The site is very useful to help a super-busy small staff to allocate their most precious resource, time, wisely. I especially like the Giving Profile. It is very easy to follow. Some of the findings were surprising, such as the funders' dexterity when responding to legislative challenges. Also, the 'topics of interest to funders' bubble helps predict funders' future interests.
